The Westchester County Board of Elections said an issue with paper ballots kept some voting machines across the county from accepting them, and that unprocessed ballots go into secured orange emergency bags to be counted later, Fox News reported. Rep. Mike Lawler, R-N.Y., said new machines were being brought in and the emergency bags would be taken by police escort to the board of elections, where both campaigns will have representation. County Executive Ken Jenkins called the situation "unacceptable" and promised a bipartisan review.
