Trump changes which Canadian goods face the 50% auto-dispute tariff, effective Oct. 30

President Trump signed a proclamation Friday that removes some Canadian products from, and adds others to, the 50% additional duty he imposed in July over what he called Canada's discrimination against U.S. motor vehicle commerce, according to the White House. The changes take effect at 12:01 a.m. Eastern on Oct. 30, and the proclamation says Canada "reneged on its commitment" in August to remove the discrimination.
