The Justice Department on Friday sued to block the results of Alaska's Senate race if they are affected by "voter confusion" from a second Dan Sullivan on the ranked-choice ballot alongside Sen. Dan Sullivan (R-AK), who faces Democrat Mary Peltola, the Washington Examiner reported. The second Sullivan, former Forest Service employee Daniel J. Sullivan Jr., drew 2.5% in the primary, and President Trump told reporters he personally directed the lawsuit, the Examiner said.
