Update: Stephen Miller takes over as chief of staff Monday as Democrats plan sweeping investigations
Stephen Miller, the architect of President Trump's immigration enforcement agenda, is set to take over as White House chief of staff on Monday, CBS News reported Saturday, replacing Susie Wiles. Trump called Miller "a great fighter" and "very loyal" at the airport in West Palm Beach on Friday, AFP reported, and Miller said in a video posted to Trump's Truth Social account that "it is the honor of my life" to serve. CBS noted the move comes as Democrats, who won both chambers, plan investigations into the administration, including its immigration enforcement.
