Update: Russia hits Kyiv overnight with ballistic missiles and 152 drones
Ukraine’s Air Force said Russia fired a Zircon/Onyx anti-ship missile, two Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles and 152 attack drones between 6 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday, with air defenses shooting down or suppressing 109 targets, Kyiv Post reported. Ukraine’s State Emergency Service said one person was injured when a six-story residential building was struck in Kyiv’s Holosiivskyi district; Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported fires and damage at an educational institution and other sites overnight. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Tuesday that overnight strikes hit two foreign-flagged vessels in the Black Sea near Odesa and that Kyiv and 10 other regions came under attack; Russia’s defense ministry said it struck two military cargo vessels and two data centers in Kyiv, France 24 reported citing Reuters.
