Update: Zelenskyy says overnight strikes hit Black Sea vessels and Kyiv region
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Tuesday that Russia hit two foreign-flagged vessels in the Black Sea near Odesa overnight and that Kyiv and 10 other regions came under attack, with damage to energy facilities, substations, businesses and homes, France 24 reported citing Reuters. Russia’s defense ministry said it struck two military cargo vessels and two data centers in Kyiv. Ukraine’s Air Force earlier reported a Zircon/Onyx anti-ship missile, two Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles and 152 attack drones between 6 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday, with 109 targets shot down or suppressed, Kyiv Post reported; emergency officials said one person was injured when a six-story residential building was hit in Kyiv’s Holosiivskyi district.
