Graphic: World Brief Now

President Donald Trump posted 21 times on his @realDonaldTrump X account between 6:48 p.m. and 7:03 p.m. CT Thursday, Oct. 22, listing endorsed candidates in 12 states and telling voters in eight of those states that in-person early voting is under way, with 12 days left before the Nov. 3 midterm elections.

What he posted

The posts went out one state at a time, from Louisiana at 6:48 p.m. CT to Alabama at 6:59 p.m. CT. The 12 states were Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, California, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky and Louisiana. His final post of the day, at 7:03 p.m. CT, linked to a live video stream titled “LIVE: President Trump Holds a Rally in Sioux City, IA - 10/22/26.”

For eight states (Alaska, Arkansas, California, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa and Louisiana), he first posted an early-voting alert, then replied to it with a list of endorsed candidates. Each alert used the same words, with only the state name changed. The Iowa post read: “Early Voting, in-person, is UNDERWAY NOW in the Great State of Iowa. If you have a mail-in ballot, return it immediately and, if not, GO VOTE at the Polls RIGHT NOW, and get everyone you know to VOTE FOR THE REPUBLICAN IN EVERY RACE, UP AND DOWN THE BALLOT!”

Each alert went on: “Whether you VOTE early, absentee, by mail, or in-person, Republicans must SWAMP the Radical Left Dumocrats with massive turnout!” Each one gave an in-person early-voting end date: Nov. 2 for Alaska, Arkansas, California, Illinois, Indiana and Iowa; Oct. 30 for Idaho; and Oct. 27 for Louisiana. Each alert linked to a page for that state on swampthevoteusa.com.

For the other four states (Alabama, Florida, Kansas and Kentucky), he posted only a list, headed “TO THE GREAT PEOPLE OF [STATE], MAKE A PLAN TO VOTE FOR.” Every list ended with the same line: “These Great Patriots have my Complete and Total Endorsement — They will never let you down! President DONALD J. TRUMP”

The Iowa stop

The posts went out as the president arrived in Iowa. The White House reposted a Rapid Response 47 post, timed 6:53 p.m. CT, that said he had stepped off Air Force One at Sioux Gateway Airport in Sioux City. The rally was billed as a campaign event for Hinson, whose Senate race against Democratic state lawmaker Josh Turek is among the contests that could help decide control of the Senate, the Associated Press and Fox News reported.

Earlier Thursday, the White House’s own X account posted about farm policy, homeownership costs, a new executive order on manufactured housing, and health care fraud cases in California. The president’s personal account had no other posts on Oct. 22.
