International Maritime Organization Secretary-General Arsenio Dominguez told Fox News Digital the situation for shipping is 'severe and critical,' with 'a double blockade' and about 6,000 seafarers trapped since the conflict began, and urged ships not to transit Hormuz 'until we have guarantees.' Fox News, citing the Financial Times, said 24 ships were attacked over roughly two weeks. Iran told the IMO the U.S. military used emergency radio Channel 16 to threaten Iranian crews, a claim Fox could not verify, while U.S. Central Command said its blockade of Iranian ports is 'professionally communicated to all international mariners.'
