Trump says Cleveland will host the new U.S. Submarine Component Repair Center

At a rally in Youngstown, Ohio, on Monday, President Trump announced that the Department of War selected Cleveland for the new U.S. Submarine Component Repair Center, a 46,000-square-foot facility he said will "manufacture, repair, and maintain key parts for virtually all new and existing submarines," the Washington Examiner reported. The choice follows an August presidential memorandum ordering a site within 90 days. Trump also directed the Energy and Commerce departments to help keep a Youngstown steam-heat utility serving 24 major buildings from shutting down this winter.
