Senate Majority Whip John Barrasso, R-Wyo., said on CBS' "Face the Nation" that reports about U.S. Ambassador to Greece Kimberly Guilfoyle are "very troubling" and "I'm sure there's gonna be an investigation," naming the State Department and the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Fox News reported. A Wall Street Journal report alleged that before her confirmation she pressed a top Trump donor to clear $100,000 in personal credit-card debt. The State Department's inspector general has already opened a probe into earlier alleged misconduct.
