Russian glide-bomb strike on two buses kills 33 in Kramatorsk as Pryluky apartment toll rises to 22

A Russian glide-bomb attack on two civilian buses in the front-line city of Kramatorsk killed 33 people Thursday and wounded 18, rescue officials and Donetsk regional head Vadym Filashkin said, the BBC reported; Filashkin said all public transport in Kramatorsk and neighboring Slovyansk had been ordered to stop. The death toll from Wednesday’s Russian missile strike on an apartment building in Pryluky, part of a massive barrage on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s 74th birthday, rose to 22, including five children, with 54 injured, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service said, according to the AP. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said Russian attacks on the capital killed three more people Thursday, the BBC reported.
