Biden-era documents released this week by the White House show that FBI agents tracked the movements of Melania Trump and her son, Barron, in the weeks before the Aug. 8, 2022, raid on Mar-a-Lago, the Washington Times reported. A May 24, 2022, internal FBI memo listed as its first task to “Finalize FBI understanding of FPOTUS/FLOTUS/minor son’s travel,” and agents also tracked phone calls to top aide Susie Wiles, now White House chief of staff, the Times said. “Spying on political opponents is weaponization of law enforcement, plain and simple,” White House spokeswoman Lauren Bis said.
