Regular gasoline has averaged $3.472 a gallon in President Trump's second term, just above the $3.471 average of Joe Biden's presidency, according to AAA data reported by Fox News. White House spokeswoman Taylor Rogers said "once this conflict comes to an end, gas prices will drop drastically," and that more oil is now flowing out of the Persian Gulf than before the conflict began. Vice President JD Vance told a Michigan rally that gas prices rise "each time a foreign leader in the Middle East throws a tantrum."
